Join our Patient Placement Team, supporting our hospitals around the clock. In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage patient placement and transfers while working across 4 screens and multiple systems including Epic, Transfer Center, Bed Placement, Voalte, Genesys, and Teams to keep care moving smoothly.
💡 What You’ll Do
Triage calls & transfers like a pro
- Coordinate 🚁 air and 🚑 ground transport
- Partner with stroke, trauma & emergency teams
- Manage patient placement across hospitals
📅 Schedule
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours/week
Rotating weekends and some holidays
No call shifts 🙌
✅ What We’re Looking For
RN with 2+ years acute care (ED or critical care required, patient flow experience a plus)
- Strong clinical judgment & multitasking skills
- Tech-savvy and confident communicating with physicians

What You'll Do
- Phone triage
- Coordinate and arrange patient transportation for inter- and intrahospital transfers
- Collaborate with ground and air transport teams to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate patient movement
- Communicate patient status, acuity, and transport needs with EMS, flight teams, nursing staff, and receiving facilities
- Familar with EPIC
- Demonstrated ability to use multiple computer systems and technologies simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a high‑volume, time‑sensitive setting.
What We're Looking For
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. BSN preferred.
- Experience: 2 years, required. Critical care background, preferred. Previous leadership and bed utilization experience is preferred, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license, required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high level of problem solving and critical thinking skills to find solutions to difficult human, technical, clinical or administrative problems. Excellent problem analysis skills to develop solutions. Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage/coordinate effectively the work of non-subordinates.
