Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate communication and coordination of care to improve patient outcomes. Processes recommendations from healthcare providers, such as medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic tests, to ensure accuracy and timely execution. Assists with implementing prescribed medical interventions and treatments to ensure strict adherence to protocols and promote patient safety. Administers medications and treatments, follows established protocols and guidelines to ensure accurate documentation and patient safety. Protects patient confidentiality by ensuring that health information and records are communicated with consistency with the appropriate standards, laws, and company policies. Helps to respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions to avoid patient harm. Performs other duties as assigned.
