Other Information: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arkansas as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Preferred national certification: PA-C (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants, or Applicable APRN certification (ANCC/AANP or specialty board as appropriate). Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent); ability to obtain ACLS within a designated timeframe if required by the organization. Demonstrated clinical competence in evaluation and management of acute musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, and common outpatient medical concerns. Ability to perform and document sports physicals / pre-participation examinations in accordance with state and organizational requirements. Strong clinical judgment with ability to triage, stabilize, and coordinate escalation of care when needed. Proficiency with EMR documentation, clinical communication, and care coordination. Ability to work flexible hours, including coverage that may include early mornings, evenings, or occasional athletic events as assigned. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with athletes, parents/guardians (when applicable), coaches, athletic trainers, and supervising physicians. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1–3+ years of clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine. Experience working directly with athletic teams (high school, collegiate, or professional).
