About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursing team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure that our residents receive individualized care and attention
Developing and implementing care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to care plans as needed
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Providing education and training to our nursing staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide the highest level of care

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an RN in a long-term care setting

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Within 24 to 48 hours, ensure that all admission documentation is complete including all required clinical assessments and care plans. Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled. Provide direct nursing care as necessary. Report problem areas to the Director of Nursing. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action. Attend and participate in continuing education programs to remain current with standards of nursing practice and to maintain licensure requirements.
