Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.

Job Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Must maintain current Texas RN License

  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs. Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges. Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
