As a key member of the support staff, you’ll collaborate with educators and specialists to meet the health and learning needs of students at an elementary campus in the Maple Glen area, just outside Lansdale, PA. Your expertise as an LPN will help create a safe and nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered LPN or LVN license in Pennsylvania
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Previous exposure to supporting students with multiple disabilities is highly valued
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medication and basic health care to students as needed
- Provide hands-on support alongside classroom teachers, especially for students in Multiple Disabilities Support programs
- Monitor and document students' medical needs and daily activities
- Contribute to individualized care and education plans in collaboration with teaching staff and other professionals
- Act as a compassionate resource for students, parents, and colleagues
