As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Hamilton, OH.

Schedule
  • 30 - 40 Hours Per Week
  • Flexibility to Build Schedule During Clinic Hours (4-10's or 5-8's)
  • Clinic Hours: Mon 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; Tue 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; Wed 7:00 am - 6:30 pm; Thu 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

What You’ll Do

  • Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
  • Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required 
  • At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting

Job Details Physician Office | Miamisburg | Full-Time | First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements Under the supervision of the provider and/or practice manager, assists and delivers patient care duties, and provides administrative support throughout the practice. This position assists the provider in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of provider. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
