 What You’ll Do

  • Provide total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the implementation of a plan of care.

There will be four units dedicated to serving children and adolescent with mental health diagnoses, dual diagnoses, substance misuse and complex behaviors, including those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and with autism spectrum disorder. Position Summary: Pre-op duties include preparing a patient both physically and mentally before an endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy procedure, including taking medical history, verifying consent, administering pre-medication, point of care testing, providing instructions on bowel preparation if necessary, IV placement and monitoring the patient's vital signs prior to the procedure.
