As a registered nurse, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care across a broad spectrum of needs, while maintaining quality, service excellence and professional standards. The Registered Nurse (RN) will advocate for all medical needs of assigned program participants focusing on optimal health for all individuals in the Seven Hills Community Services (SHCS) Residential Care setting. To Supervise the coordination of medical services. Hours as assigned by supervisor; on call responsibilities.

Pay: $41.00/hr. New Hire Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (50% paid at 6 months and 50% paid at 12 months)

Responsibilities

Assess and coordinate healthcare services for individuals in accordance with DDS and agency standards
Communicate medical concerns and updates to relevant SHCS staff, including managers and directors
Accompany and transport individuals to medical appointments as needed
Oversee medical supports and maintain accurate documentation in TIER
Ensure compliance with Medication Administration Program (MAP) protocols and reporting
Provide in-service training to residential staff on medical topics and support needs
Collaborate with healthcare providers to secure appropriate treatment and follow-up care
Supervise assigned nursing staff (e.g., LPNs) and report concerns to the Health Care Director
Uphold participant dignity, rights, and confidentiality in all care and communication
Maintain compliance with all regulatory documentation and reporting requirements
Foster a respectful, supportive, and collaborative team environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Health Care Director

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Registered Nurse with current MA license.
One year working in a residential setting with disabled adults or Home Care experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent communication skills.
Valid Massachusetts drivers license

About the Job The MCH Clinical Float Pool RN is an experienced registered nurse who provides flexible coverage across multiple units within the Maternal Child Health division. The float pool nurse does not have a fixed unit assignment -- floating within the division is the primary function of this role. Float pool nurses are selected for this role based on clinical depth in their home specialty, a genuine comfort with variability, and willingness to maintain competency across multiple care settings. What You’ll Do: Float within assigned units on most scheduled shifts as directed by the staffing supervisor or charge nurse. Provide safe, competent, independent nursing care in each credentialed unit -- functioning as a full staff nurse, not in a support or observation capacity.
