What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll make a meaningful difference every day by providing compassionate, hands-on care that helps our residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and dining

  • Provide safe transfers, mobility assistance, and repositioning

  • Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team

  • Measure and record vital signs as assigned

  • Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support

  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care

  • Keep resident rooms clean, safe, and comfortable

  • Follow infection prevention protocols and facility policies

  • Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional resident care

What We're Looking For

  • Current Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification (Required)

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

  • CPR/BLS Certification (Preferred)

  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required

  • Newly Certified CNAs are encouraged to apply!

CNA SNF/State Part Time Evenings

Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA assists with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and basic nursing care to ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being. The CNA is responsible for observing and reporting patient conditions, maintaining a clean environment, and promoting continuity and quality of care. Essential Functions Assists patients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and other daily living activities. Provides basic care such as changing linens, assisting with repositioning, and providing mobility support. Measures and records vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff. Documents patient care activities accurately and promptly, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations. Supports patient nutrition by serving meals, assisting with feeding, and monitoring intake and output. Maintains patient safety by ensuring the proper use of restraints, following infection control protocols, and implementing fall prevention measures. Assists with basic treatments such as applying nonsterile dressings, ice packs, and heat treatments as directed by nursing staff. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive care experience and address patient needs. Participates in ongoing training and education to maintain CNA certification and stay updated on best practices in patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Complies with all policies and standards.
