The Nursing Supervisor is an essential part of Pembroke Hospital’s inpatient leadership team. This is a part time position and includes an every other weekend requirement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Have administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the overall coordination of nursing services during the shift
  • Supervise / coordinate services provided during admissions and on the inpatient units to provide optimal utilization of human and environmental services
  • Provide leadership to nursing staff in the nursing care delivery system in order to ensure accordance with Pembroke Hospital’s philosophy and established nursing standards of practice of care and policies and procedures

Report problem areas to the Director of Nursing. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action. Attend and participate in continuing education programs to remain current with standards of nursing practice and to maintain licensure requirements.
