Job Summary
Seeking a motivated, empathetic Scheduler to help ensure the highest quality care for seniors in their homes! The Home Care Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining caregiver schedules, coordinating client visits, and ensuring appropriate staffing coverage. This role serves as a key communication link between clients, caregivers, and agency management while maintaining compliance with company policies and care plans. Scheduler is an active Caregiver who can also assist with shift coverage and facilitate the transition for new cases.

Job Responsibilities
Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments for client visits.
Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, location, and client preferences.
Monitor daily schedules and make adjustments for call-offs, emergencies, and last-minute changes.
On-call (including overnights) to respond to short notice schedule changes
Communicate schedule updates to caregivers, clients, and family members.
Maintain accurate scheduling records in scheduling software and electronic health record systems.
Verify caregiver availability, credentials, and work-hour limits.
Track open shifts and arrange coverage to ensure uninterrupted client care.
Assist with onboarding schedules for new caregivers and clients.
Respond to client and employee inquiries regarding schedules and service hours.
Maintain a current CNA License.
All duties and responsibilities of a Caregiver while actively working a shift.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Licensed CNA, minimum 3 years experience as a Caregiver
Previous homecare scheduling experience preferred
Experience with ERM and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Must be willing and able to drive throughout the agency service area to work with Clients and Caregivers in the Client home
Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United States
Pass a background check and drug screen
Current CNA License
Current Driver's License
Current TB test
COVID-19 and flu Immunizations
