Weekend Live In Caregiver

Job Summary Does it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? Are you open to weekend, live in care? We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide exemplary personal care and companion care to a client in Alexandria. She is an elderly lady recovering from a fall. She spends significant time in bed or wheelchair. She needs assistance with ADLs to include continence care, bed baths, and transfers. Meal preparation and some light housekeeping are also needed. This is a live in position which requires staying overnight. Private room for sleeping is provided. She lives with a partner. Duties will also require some light housekeeping and companionship. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout Alexandria and surrounding areas. Benefits: Time and a half for major holidays. Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client. Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees. Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor. Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: Two years of experience as a Caregiver. Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA. Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States Pass a background check and drug screen Current Driver's License Current TB test Reliable transportation, able to travel throughout Fairfax County, Arlington, Alexandria and surrounding areas Immunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged

Caregiver

Job Summary Seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide companion care for an elderly lady in Arlington. Expect 8 hour shifts. She is moving back home and will be living with her husband. She needs assistance with incontinence care, light housekeeping and meal preparation. She will have a Hoyer lift to assist with transfers and will require standby assistance while walking. Current CNA license is preferred. Benefits: Start at $18 per hour. Opportunity for pay raise to $20 after 3 months. Time and a half for major holidays. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist an elderly lady with the transition back home. Care to begin immediately, with shifts Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm. She will need assistance with transfers, dressing, and bathing. She lives at home with her husband and a small dog. CNA Caregiver

Job Summary Seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personal care and companion care for a male client in Great Falls. Shifts are 7pm to 7am with opening during the week and on weekends. Potentail for 40 hours per week with occasional over-time. This client resides in a facility in a private room. Must have a CNA licence or PCA Certificate, current TB test, and a clean background check. This gentleman has some difficulty hearing and requires assistance with toileting and showering during overnight shifts. Caregiver must have reliable transportation. Preference given to applicants with a clean driving record who are able to use their vehicle to transport client to occasional appointments.
