AHMG General Pediatrics at Apopka Part-Time position for an APRN or PA

$1 - $1,000,000 / year

General Summary:

The APP, under the supervision of Physicians, is responsible for:

  • Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric patients.
  • Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
  • Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed
  • Collaborates with providers and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
  • Combination of outpatient in person visits as well as virtual visits
  • Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Schedule Details:

Primary Schedule:

  • Monday - 8AM to 5PM
  • Wednesday - 8 AM to 5PM
  • Friday - 8AM to 4PM

Education and Experience Required:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Minimum of 5 years pediatric experience

Licensure, Certification, and Registration Required:

  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license
  • ANCC, AANP, PNP-PC/AC, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification
  • Current BLS required
