Highland Park is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents while overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit. Responsibilities

  • Identify, manage, and treat specific skin conditions, such as pressure injuries; diabetic, venous, or arterial ulcers; and traumatic or complicated wounds

  • Provide wound care on assigned residents, in accordance with physician orders, following manufacturer recommendations and appropriate techniques

  • Complete a thorough and accurate wound assessment upon notification of wound, and follow-up assessments weekly and as needed

Requirements

  • Current LPN licensure in the State of New York

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
