Responsibilities

Assists in review and revision of the plan of care.
Provides nursing care in accordance with physician’s plan of treatment, individual plan of care, as authorized by client’s payer source.
Observes, records and report's reaction to treatment and any changes in client’s condition to appropriate personnel and/or physician.
Provides ongoing instruction of client or family in the plan of treatment.
Participates in education programs, quality assessment activities, nurse’s meetings and other staff meetings as required.
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with every 4 to 6 weeks, weekend rotation

Requirements

Kansas or Compact Licensed Practical Nursing License
Strong organizational and self-management skills
Strong and compassionate customer service skills
Valid driver’s license

PRN Licensed Practical Nurse - Recovery | Bel Aire Recovery Center | Bel Aire, Kansas About the Job: PURPOSE STATEMENT: The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse works under the direction of a qualified professional nurse. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of the licensing board. Communicates and works collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team i.e., medical staff, administration, clinicians, dietitians, and milieu personnel. Takes reasonable care and precautions to ensure high client safety standards and a therapeutic environment exist. This position is onsite at the facility and is not a remote position. Roles and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of clients under the supervision of a registered professional nurse, while always maintaining the assurance of client safety and following unit and facility policies and procedures. Complies with all company safety policies and practices. Assists in relevant health and psychiatric teaching for client and family. Serves as a role model for clients and peers. Shares responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans and nursing care. Effectively communicates with the medical staff, receives verbal/written orders, and takes care to minimize abbreviation or other errors.
