Description

Under the general direction of the Unit Manager performs activities to encourage and support breast feeding to Kadlec Medical Center families including inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients and employees. Updates nursing staff/Physicians on current information regarding breast-feeding and performs related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Coursework/Training: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing (or higher degree) from an accredited educational institution, or degree in progress. If BSN or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire.

  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year Recent nursing experience, with emphasis on breast-feeding experience.
