Moose Lake Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring a Caregiver (HHA or PCA) to join our team in Moose Lake, MN. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. 

As a Caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.  You can grow your career at Moose Lake Village as well, should you desire to become a CNA, we will assist you with that. 

Position Type: Part-Time

Available Shifts:

  • Evenings, 2:00pm to 10:00pm 

Wage Range:
$19 - $19.97 / hour without NAR Certification 
$20 - $21.55 / hour with NAR Certification

Shift Differential: 
Evening $1.00 / hour
Nights $2.00 / hour

Location: 710 S Kenwood Ave, Moose Lake, MN

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
  • Wash resident clothing, make beds, and clean the general environment.
  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.
  • Perform delegated nursing or therapy procedures.
  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
  • Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Caregiver Qualifications:
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you for this position! 
  • Bonus points for (CNA) certification!
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Comfortable standing and walking most of the time.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
