Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care while leading and supporting a team of healthcare professionals.

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned nursing unit.

  • Lead, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

  • Ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.

  • Monitor clinical documentation and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Conduct daily rounds and address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve the highest standards of care and resident satisfaction.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and care plan meetings.

  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure survey readiness and assist during state and federal inspections.

  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence in resident care.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Subacute Rehabilitation setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical practices.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
