- Work location: Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132
- Work hours: Full-time, 6:45AM-7:15PM, (3) 12-hour shifts/week, schedule varies including some weekend and holiday coverage
- Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
- Mother friendly designated, a Texas 10-Step designated, and a Magnet designated facility
- Our team is like a family with a newly renovated Mother/Baby, couplet care unit with 26-beds
- Average between 285-300 deliveries per month
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma required
- BSN – Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
- One-year (1) Year Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting Required
- 2-years’ experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting preferred
- 2-years current Mother/Baby RN experience strongly preferred
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days Required
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

- The Charge Nurse

- evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- directly assists leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, by offering staff guidance and support, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and ensuring unit operational tasks are completed.
