Responsibilities of an LPN:

·      Licensed Practical Nurse will care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients

·      Licensed Practical Nurse will provide basic patient care and treatment

·      Licensed Practical Nurse will collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications

·      Licensed Practical Nurse will educate and update patients on medical treatments

 

Qualifications of a LPN:

ü  Currently licensed as an LPN (DE)

ü  Certification program completed as an LPN

ü  CPR/BLS certification

Respiratory Nurse (LPN/RN) – Specialized Respiratory Care Unit Full-Time | Per Diem Join Our Specialized Respiratory Care Team We are seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing Respiratory Care Unit . As a Respiratory Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to residents requiring respiratory support, including tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, pulmonary treatments, and ventilator support. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working in a higher-acuity environment and are interested in developing specialized respiratory skills. Previous respiratory experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to qualified candidates. RN / LPN Unit Manager

We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager to join our skilled nursing team! Our facility features a fast paced sub-acute and long term care units. The primary role of the Unit Manager is to assist the Director of Nursing/ADON in developing and directing the functions of the given Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, as well as adhering to the policies and regulations of the facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is delivered at all times. Responsibilities for an RN / LPN Unit Manager Monitor licensed and unlicensed nursing staff in delivering quality care to each resident Ensure that nursing staff follows policy and procedures, including appropriate dress code Attend and participate in morning clinical review meeting Review 24- hour resident change in condition report daily and correspond with DON on changes in treatments as necessary Review resident medical records and documentation to ensure clinical programs are in place per policy and procedures Collaborate with the Educator on programs which meet the educational needs of staff Ensure required documentation is completed for every shift in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations Maintain compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations on unit, reporting any known violations to the Administrator and DON Assist the DON/ADON with preparing performance evaluations as directed.
