International Radiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Per Diem - UNC Health Lumberton

Description

UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC, is seeking a per diem International Radiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our growing team. This position will work in collaboration with the radiologists to provide comprehensive patient care. They should be independently motivated, enjoy direct patient contact, and be clinically inclined to perform at a high level.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
Current licensure as an NP/PA in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
Interventional Radiology experience preferred, but not required

The Nurse Practitioner provides palliative care through the evaluation, assessment and management of the HPI, review of symptoms, physical exam, management of health problems by directing and developing the plan of care, prescribing medications as needed, coordinating and collaborating with patients, families and other healthcare practitioners.
