CNA or LPN Caregiver

Qualifications: 

• Register as a Certified CNA

• Must be able to pass a background check

• If the applicant works transportation shifts, the applicant must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. 

• Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.

• Be at least 18 years old
• Up-to-date immunization records
• Graduate from a Certified Nursing Assistant School in North Carolina
• Pass the State Exam

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Provide attention to client's non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement

• Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers

• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts

• Provide personal care with our clients (transfer assistance, showering/bathing assistance, toileting assistance as well as dressing and grooming)

• Must have reliable transportation (valid driver license and auto insurance will be requested)

Physical Demands 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate while performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to walk, sit and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
