Glendive Medical Center is hiring a Hospitality Aide, an entry-level role designed to help you gain experience while working toward becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The Hospitality Aide supports nursing staff by assisting with non-clinical tasks that enhance resident comfort, safety, and quality of life.

GMC provides all required CNA classes, and employees have 120 days from hire to complete training and pass the CNA exam.

What You'll Do - Extended Care

  • Assist with snack and hydration distribution
  • Help maintain clean and organized resident rooms
  • Transport residents to meals, activities, and appointments
  • Remove trays, linens, and waste as directed
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and common areas
  • Respond to call lights and notify CNAs of care needs
  • Support activity setup and engagement
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Do - Acute Care

  • Assist patients with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily activities.
  • Monitor and report patient conditions, including vital signs, intake/output, and changes in health status.
  • Respond to call lights, perform patient rounds, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
  • Support nursing staff with patient care procedures, testing, and equipment as directed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
  • Stock supplies, maintain work areas, and assist with other unit duties as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
