Required Qualifications
  • Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospice experience
  • Previous experience overseeing or managing multiple offices

This examination is administered by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC). The Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential is awarded upon successful completion of the examination. IV. Required education for the department will be paid. This includes but not limited to the Nursing Oncology Orientation Bundle, the Biotherapy / Chemotherapy Certificate course and the ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse credential. V. A monetary bonus will be paid upon successfully obtaining the OCN credential. VI. The Registered Nurse ONS/ONCC credential must maintained according to the renewal guidelines of the credentialing organization. This is for the highest level of credential earned as the nurse progresses through their advanced training requirements. VII. The Oncology Research Coordinator will be required to complete an annual computer based learning on Chemotherapy Administration to maintain their knowledge. a. Cytotoxic Drug Handling. b.
