Qualifications

  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
  • Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
  • Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

Working in collaboration with the RSTL Medical Director and interdisciplinary stakeholders, this role advances the Riverside Simulation Training Lab (RSTL) as an enterprise clinical education resource through standardized curriculum development, simulation facilitation, structured debriefing, learner assessment, and continuous program improvement aligned with national healthcare simulation standards. The Simulation Educator (RN) applies evidence-based educational practices and adult learning principles to develop scalable simulation programs that support organizational strategic priorities, accreditation readiness, and clinical quality initiatives. Responsibilities emphasize educational design, facilitation, and evaluation rather than operational management of the simulation facility.
