Novant Health Family Medicine is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team!
Location: Delaney Ave. Wilmington, NC 28403
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, Four 9-hour day shifts and one 4-hour day shift each week

What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a busy family medicine practice.
- Serve as a float nurse, providing clinical support and coverage across the practice and assisting providers and clinical team members as needed.
- Partner closely with family medicine residents and faculty physicians, supporting the education and development of residents in a clinical setting.
- Support a diverse patient population, with approximately 50% of patients being pediatric; experience in pediatrics is strongly preferred.
- Utilize clinical expertise to support patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions within a family medicine setting.
- Apply obstetric/OB nursing experience to support the needs of the practice; OB experience is a plus.
- Assist with maintaining efficient patient flow while supporting multiple providers throughout the day.
- Serve as a clinical resource and backup for other nursing and clinical staff.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality, safety and exceptional patient care.
- Use strong clinical judgment, communication and organizational skills to prioritize competing needs in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
- Demonstrate leadership and initiative traits.
What We're Looking For
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
