Surgical Oncology Opportunities
Our Oncology units are fast paced units that include high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Oncology leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building each team member.
Patient Population: Gynecology, Thyroid, Pancreas, Whipple, Skin, Stomach, Breast, and Plastics Oncology
Patient Ratios: 4:1 Day Shift and Night Shift
Number of Beds: 24-bed, single patient rooms
Dedicated to celebrating and supporting each other and our patients, our Oncology Units have Pharmacists located in the unit to partner with nurses in patient care, a dedicated Palliative Care Team, a Multidisciplinary Team that works together and Manager & Supervisor here to support and encourage your growth.

Job Summary
Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.
Work Model
- Onsite
- Full time days/ Variable shifts
- Must have flexibilty to cover shifts when needed, to include weekend if short-staffed.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Working closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Assessing how effective the nursing practices are and infusing practices and research discoveries that are evidence-based.
- Fostering a caring and outcome-promoting environment.
- Encouraging development and opening up growth opportunities for staff members.
- Efficiently managing resources to promote safety within the healthcare system.
Key Success Factors
- A solid understanding of nursing standards and patient care procedures.
- Superb communication abilities and expertise in creating and assessing patient care plans.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and diverse medical and office software applications.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Associate's Degree
- MAJOR - Nursing
- EXPERIENCE
- 2yr Med/Surg RN experience required
- Oncology RN experience required
- 1yr Charge RN or higher experience required
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Chemo Certification or obtain within 6-12 months
