The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients. The framework for practice will be the nursing process in order to prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care. 
 

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides proficient, compassionate, and professional patient-centered care by effectively communicating with patients, co-workers, and providers. Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). Demonstrates knowledge of available resources within Lake Region Healthcare and the broader community to support comprehensive patient care.  
The LPN practices in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, professional nursing standards, and LRHC policies and procedures. This role requires sound clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively to ensure safe, comprehensive, and compassionate patient care.


The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to supervise others as assigned including LPN’s, nursing assistants, clerks, and students.  The RN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, PRHHS employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The RN must be able to provide patient care, secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, and exercise initiative and judgment. 

 

Hours/Shifts
72 hours biweekly, varied shifts, Monday to Friday 

 

Compensation
Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
LPN Hourly Wage Range: $23.79 - $31.99
RN Hourly Wage Range: $30.92 - $45.28
