    • Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • Samaritan Lincoln City Clinic provides primary health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine providers, with a focus on compassion, dignity and respect. The health care team may include doctors, nurse practitioners, physician associates, behavioral health specialists, medical assistants and other clinic staff members working together to help patients maintain the best possible health. They encourage and offer preventive care including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
    • Healthcare Provider BLS required.
    • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
    • Lab/EKG experience preferred.

Summary Occasionally JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Provides safe and high-quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Clinician. Assists and performs advanced modalities such as negative pressure wound therapy, compression therapy and post-debridement care. Maintains an accurate patient electronic medical record, assists with non-invasive and invasive departmental procedures and associated care coordination. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Samaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems.
