Amazing Care Home Health provides Private Duty Nursing which differs from other Home Health Nursing. Rather than short visits, traveling to multiple patients per shift, you work with one patient per shift. Shift lengths vary so whether you like short shifts or longer days, we can accommodate what works best for your family.

Pay:

  • $33.00 - $38.00 an hour *Higher end of pay is commensurate with experience and based on licensure, assignment, and availability

Sign-on Bonus:

  • Full-Time - $2,000.00. Paid at 90 days of employment. Must have worked an average of 30 hours a week in the prior 90 days
  • Part-Time - $1,000.00. Paid at 90 days of employment. must have worked an average of 20 hours a week in the prior 90 days

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced nurses to provide private duty nursing for 1-2 teenage clients. Mid to high acuity. Experience with PDN and Trach/Vent, GT preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
  • Administer medication, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitor patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records using web-based electronic medical records system.

Qualifications:

Job Overview The Clinical Nurse Supervisor, AKA Associate Clinical Manager (ACM), provides frontline clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care. Through direct clinical care and support, visible leadership presence, and active supervision of team members, the ACM drives excellence in care delivery, workforce performance, and patient/family experience while upholding regulatory and organizational standards. Department: AMC Emergency Department Status: Ful-time, benefit eligible Shift: Typical M-F Busines hours with flexibilty to support unit needs Duties & Responsibilities Designs , develops, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates onboarding and orientation programs for licensed and unlicensed team members to ensure they are prepared to practice safely and independently. Demonstrates leadership through team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to build partnerships across the system. Assesses learning needs, incorporating adult learning principles, engaging learning strategies, and utilizing scholarly inquiry to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs and outcomes to optimize patient care delivery and for team member’s ongoing clinical professional development. Ensures assessment, documentation, and record keeping of team members’ clinical competency. Mentors, develops, and evaluates preceptors to enhance learning experiences for all new hires. Serves as a nurse planner, designer, and educator for unit clinical education programs. Demonstrates knowledge of effective communication principles and promotes communication among disciplines. Facilitates learning outcomes through innovative partnerships. Demonstrates skillful guidance and teaching of team members to advance the care of patients, families, and the profession of nursing. Supports quality improvement standards; regulatory standards; patient safety standards; error prevention tools, methodologies, technologies and resources. Minimum Qualifications Degrees Bachelor of Science in Nursing Master of Science in Nursing Area of Study MSN or equivalent with post-master’s certification in education Experience Minimum Experience Required:Five (5) years of clinical pediatric RN experience Preference given to those with 2+ years with emergency department experience in additional to requirement above Equivalency Not Applicable Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support Registered Nurse Additional Requirements BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire American Nurses Credentialing Center(ANCC) or Magnet approved certification Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $108,198.40 to $162,297.60 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
