Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment Take clients on walks, trips to social events or medical appointments, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand Perform light housekeeping Performs personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Supervisor which includes but is not limited to, assisting the client with activities of daily living, such as: · Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair) · Ambulation · Eating · Dressing · Shaving · Meal Preparation (No worries - you don’t need to be a gourmet chef) Maintain accurate care records Communicate with the care team Working Environment: Primarily works in client’s place of residence; travel may be required. Shift times and days vary with client needs. No experience needed. Willing to provide training. Essential Functions and Duties: Assist the client with activities of daily living by providing any of the Comfort Keepers approved personal care activities including, but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and/or ambulation. Provide for a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients and family members with light housekeeping tasks including laundering of client's garments and linens and changing the bed. Assist in meeting nutritional needs by providing meal planning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, dishes, and kitchen clean-up. Observe and report any changes in the client's mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation as directed by office policy in a timely manner.
