As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residents. And ensuring that all resident rights are protected.

2. Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.

3. Checking all residents daily to ensure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.

4. Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.

5. Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.

6. Administering professional services such as: catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies and procedures.

7. Completing all Licensed Practical Nurse LPN required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, discharge, transfer, etc. File in the resident’s chart and/or forward to the appropriate department.

8. Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.

9. Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.

10. Presenting in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.

11. Adhering to our policies and standards.

We are offering a $7,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible Full-Time Night Nurses, in addition to a Night Shift Differential. As a Night Shift LPN, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor changes in resident condition, supervise and support CNAs, and help ensure residents receive safe, timely, and individualized care throughout the overnight shift. Our LPNs are trusted members of the clinical team and play an essential role in maintaining continuity of care. You will work closely with RNs, physicians, nursing leadership, CNAs, and other interdisciplinary team members while exercising clinical judgment within your scope of practice. This position is ideal for a nurse who values hands-on resident care, professional accountability, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during every shift.
