Registered Nurse RN Unit Manager We are seeking a Registered Nurse RN Unit Manager to join our skilled nursing team! Our facility features a fast paced sub-acute and long term care units. The primary role of the Unit Manager is to assist the Director of Nursing/ADON in developing and directing the functions of the given Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, as well as adhering to the policies and regulations of the facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is delivered at all times. Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse RN Unit Manager Monitor licensed and unlicensed nursing staff in delivering quality care to each resident Ensure that nursing staff follows policy and procedures, including appropriate dress code Attend and participate in morning clinical review meeting Review 24- hour resident change in condition report daily and correspond with DON on changes in treatments as necessary Maintain compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations on unit, reporting any known violations to the Administrator and DON Assist the DON/ADON with preparing performance evaluations as directed.
