Right at Home is currently seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate Caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care and support to seniors and adults with disabilities. As an Experienced Caregiver, you will use your knowledge and hands-on caregiving experience to help clients remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged in their own homes. This position is ideal for caregivers who are confident providing personal care, working independently, following individualized care plans, and recognizing and communicating changes in a client's needs.

About The Roll:
As an Experienced Right at Home Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care while drawing on your previous caregiving experience to confidently meet each client's individual needs. Responsibilities may include personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfer assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
Your experience may also be utilized when supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, mobility limitations, higher levels of personal care, or respite care needs. You will provide meaningful companionship and emotional support through conversation, activities, hobbies, walks, errands, appointments, and other approved activities. When applicable, you may assist with transportation or accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
Experienced Caregivers are expected to work confidently and independently while following each client's individualized care plan and company policies. You will use good judgment, recognize changes in a client's condition or behavior, communicate concerns promptly, and accurately complete required care documentation. Your professionalism, experience, and attention to detail will help provide continuity and consistency for both clients and their families.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for caregivers who bring hands-on experience, confidence, compassion, and professionalism to every client interaction. Successful candidates should be dependable, comfortable working independently in a client's home, and committed to providing care that protects each client's dignity, safety, and independence.
Previous professional experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, Senior Companion, Private Duty Caregiver, or similar direct-care role is highly valued. Experience with personal care, ADLs, dementia or Alzheimer's care, mobility assistance, transfers, medication reminders, meal preparation, documentation, and working with families is required.
Requirements:
Previous caregiving or direct-care experience required (1-2yrs); experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role is highly valued.
Demonstrated ability to provide personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining client dignity, privacy, and independence.
Ability to confidently follow and implement individualized care plans, verbal and written assignments, company policies, and procedures.
Ability to work independently in a client's home while exercising sound judgment and knowing when to seek assistance from the office or supervisory team.
Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete responsibilities accurately and consistently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff.
Ability to recognize and promptly report changes in a client's physical condition, behavior, mood, mobility, appetite, or overall well-being.
Ability to recognize potential safety concerns and follow established safety procedures, including reporting unusual events, suspected abuse or neglect, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, and our home care management system, ClearCare, for scheduling, timekeeping, documentation, and communication.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships while demonstrating patience, tact, empathy, professionalism, and respect.
Must maintain the privacy and confidentiality of client, family, and company information.
Must successfully complete required background checks and any other employment screening required by the company or applicable regulations.
Must have a valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and reliable transportation when driving is required for an assigned position.
Must be physically capable of safely performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including duties associated with providing in-home care.
Must successfully complete required company orientation, caregiver training, and ongoing in-service education.
Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, reliability, respect, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional client care.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 18
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and clear a background check
Preferred, not required: CNA, HHA, or PCA certification(s)
Pass drug screening
Valid Car Insurance
Ability to drive 30-45 minutes to a shift
Ability to drive clients to doctor's appointments
