Our Cardiology Neurology technologists are trained in the latest digital cardiology and meridians practices to provide care for adults with heart-related diseases and conditions. The Cardiology Neurology team at Kaua‘i Medical Clinic offers a full range of adult, non-invasive cardiovascular services, such as stress testing, echocardiography and pacemaker monitoring. Kaua‘i residents can also benefit from having their diagnostic and/or interventional (stent) cardiac catheterization performed at Straub Clinic & Hospital, and doctors on either island can view medical and testing information to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient cardiac care.
As a Medical Assistant in our Cardiology Neurology department, you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities to clients of all ages. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.
