Lebanon Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical leadership team.
The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership to oversee clinical operations, support nursing staff, promote quality resident care, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing with the overall management of nursing services.
Provide clinical leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Monitor resident care and ensure adherence to individualized care plans.
Conduct rounds and assess residents' clinical needs.
Assist with staff scheduling, staffing coverage, and daily nursing operations.
Monitor medication administration, treatments, documentation, and physician orders.
Ensure timely follow-up on changes in resident condition.
Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Assist with incident investigations and development of corrective action plans.
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Assist with survey preparation and maintain ongoing survey readiness.
Provide education, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff.
Promote accountability, teamwork, and a resident-centered culture.
Qualifications
Current Tennessee RN license required.
Previous nursing leadership experience strongly preferred.
ADON, Unit Manager, RN Supervisor, or similar leadership experience preferred.
Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or Rehabilitation experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Strong commitment to resident care, safety, and quality outcomes.
