CALIFORNIA REGULATION : Must be a CNA in good standing AND must have a current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in good standing in the State of California. Our attending physicians see their patients every day, and physicians with specialties in pulmonology, cardiology, infectious disease, and general surgery may also participate in your care. Additionally, patients with serious respiratory illnesses have 24/7 access to a respiratory therapist. Job Summary Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel. Essential Functions Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
