Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.
Shift: (Part-Time 24 hours -Nights, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient clinical critical care skills and critical thinking skills with strong communication skills [Required]
Basic computer skills and commitment to hourly patient rounding [Required]
Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
Must possess frequent independent judgment and the ability to handle clinical situations requiring sound professional judgment and critical-thinking skills, including clinical assessment, data analysis, and patient response. [Preferred]
Responsible for providing quality patient care and continuously prioritizing multiple duties. [Preferred]
Ability to function calmly and professionally during stressful situations. [Preferred]
Utilization of assessment, reassessment, and critical-thinking skills in dealing with changes in patient outcomes. [Preferred]
General knowledge of professional nursing principles and techniques, as well as the pharmacological process in the appropriate administration or delivery of medications. [Preferred]
Skill to maintain effective working relationships with health professionals and others to foster an environment conducive to carrying out the mission of the facility. [Preferred]
Skill to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to direct the overall professional nursing services in a manner that encourages the open exchange of ideas and information. [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$31.85 - $52.76Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
