Arrives for duty on time and ready to assume responsibility for the unit when assigned. Organizes resident/patient care according to accepted routines and prioritizes activities, and manages work day so as to complete duties within eight hour shift. 2. Responsible and will be held accountable for ongoing assessments of the residents’ nursing care needs. Immediately reports changes in condition of residents with accurate assessments and interventions to supervision, APRN or physician. Transcribes orders from W10. Notifies physician in timely manner of consultant/or post physician visit. Assists the MDS Coordinator in the development of the plan of care for each resident/patient. Provides nursing care to residents in accordance with standard nursing practice. This care will include the administration of medications and patient treatments as prescribed by the physician. Documents care and resident response to medications and nursing interventions. Assists in the provision of patient/family teaching and education.
