What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play an important role in providing hands-on care and support to our residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide compassionate hands-on resident care throughout the day.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.

  • Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility while following proper safety procedures.

  • Take and accurately record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and weight.

  • Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns or changes to the nurse.

  • Answer call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely and compassionate manner.

  • Provide comfort, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.

  • Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and maintaining proper nutrition as directed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.

  • Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and comfortable.

  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility procedures.

  • Work closely with RNs, LPNs, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to provide quality resident care.

  • Promote resident dignity, privacy, independence, and choice in all aspects of care.

CNA Qualifications

  • Active Missouri CNA certification required.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

  • Previous CNA, long-term care, skilled nursing, nursing home, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

  • Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and direction from licensed nursing staff.

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of a CNA position, including standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents.
