Director of Nursing

Healthcare organization is looking for a Director of Nursing to lead the skilled nursing practices. 

This is a great opportunity for Assistant Director of Nursing who would like to advance their careers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Role model for the company’s Vision Statement and collaborates with the Administrator to ensure implementation and compliance.

  • Drives ongoing QAA process, oversees milestone plans for performance improvement, and monitors clinical trends and outcomes.

  • Uses TSI reports, CMS reports, current survey status and clinical outcomes to monitor clinical progress monthly.

  • Communicates care delivery trends, issues and opportunities to administration, medical director, and the Quality Assurance Committee.

  • Anticipates customers’ needs and works to minimize potential problems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed as RN in this state; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

  • Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

  • Must have, as a minimum of 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
