Responsibilities:

Provide total care for residents, including monitoring their condition and needs, administering medications and treatments, and overseeing the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff
Complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, and report any changes in resident condition
Maintain confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues

Requirements:

RN licensure with the IA Board of Nursing
Current CPR certification
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
Desire to work with the elderly

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing
Ability to establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively

Work Schedule:

Full-time position working 12-hour shifts
