About the Role:

As an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with personal care activities

  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment

  • Participating in staff education and training programs to stay current with industry best practices

  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents on a shift basis

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager

  • Assist with medication administration, treatments, and procedures

  • Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and care delivery

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

  • Adhere to facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Missouri

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred

Position Details: Our Cardiac Unit is a 24-private bed unit that serves a wide range of patients, including those with general cardiac needs, pre and post procedure cares, cardiac dysrhythmias, cardiac drips, and vascular conditions & procedures. You will have the opportunity to receive your NIH Stroke Certification.
