Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-time Opportunities

Join our dynamic care team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland!

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a valued member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated staff and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Openings:

  • 32 hours on 7a-3p, includes every other weekend

  • 32 hours on 3p-11p, includes every other weekend

  • 32 hours on 11p-7a, including every other weekend

Pay:

  • Competitive and weekly pay ranging from $40 to $45 an hour, depending on the shift

  • Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN

  • Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician

  • Document resident progress and report any unusual or significant findings

  • Participate in emergency procedures as necessary

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to positive resident and family relations

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state

  • CPR certification

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public

  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures

  • Leadership and supervisory skills
