Supports mobility by helping residents move between beds and wheelchairs, and transferring individuals to special functions, trips, appointments, and other activities within and outside the facility. Communicates resident needs to others when outside own scope of duties. Utilizes appropriate equipment and follows established safety protocols to ensure resident comfort and dignity. Adapts techniques and frequency based on individual needs and preferences and established care plans.
