On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA)

SYNERGY HomeCare of Apollo Beach is looking for a dependable and flexible Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our on-call caregiver team and help support clients when additional coverage is needed.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced caregiver who enjoys variety, has flexible availability, and is comfortable working with different clients and schedules.

What You'll Do

As an on-call HHA, you may provide coverage for different clients based on their individual Plan of Care. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns
• Completing required care documentation
• Following each client's Plan of Care and assignment instructions

What We're Looking For

Because this is an on-call position, reliability and flexibility are especially important.

Requirements:

• Current Florida HHA certification
• At least 1 year of home care experience
• Flexible availability for on-call coverage
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays as needed
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and dependability
• Ability to complete required background screening through the Clearinghouse
• AxisCare experience is a plus not required
