As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and providing personalized care.

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide medication management, vital sign monitoring, and personal care to our residents. Certified Medication Technician (CMT) will:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed nurses

  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, transferring, and ambulating

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications accurately and efficiently

  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff

  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and vital signs

  • Collaborate with nursing staff to identify and address patient care needs

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment


Responsibilities:

  • Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in good standing, as required by the State of Missouri.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, senior living, or healthcare preferred but not required.

  • Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, and directions from licensed nursing staff.

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, repositioning residents, and assisting with transfers.
