Job Duties:

  • Assist residents with hygiene and daily living needs

  • Support feeding and basic treatments under nurse direction

  • Observe and report emotional and physical changes

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment

  • Use equipment safely and follow OSHA guidelines

  • Attend required training and assist in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Michigan-approved Nurse Aide Training Program (minimum 75 hours)

  • Successful completion of the Michigan Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation (written and skills exam)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Professional appearance and behavior

  • Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with varied conditions

The facility is specifically designed for the needs of our patients and is set in an environment designed to promote peaceful recover About Rehab and Nursing Center-Leffingwell The Rehab and Nursing Center – Leffingwell was designed with healing in mind. The center offers 80 private rooms, each with an accessible bathroom, comfortable seating for guests, a large screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and beautiful nature views.
