About the Role:

As a Caregiver 1st Shift, you will be working directly with clients to deliver high-quality care and support, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will maintain a safe and comfortable home environment, assist with daily activities, and provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as taking them on walks, trips to social events or medical appointments, and running errands

  • Perform light housekeeping and personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and oral care

  • Prepare meals and assist with activities of daily living, such as eating and dressing

  • Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Working Environment:

  • Primarily works in clients' residences, with occasional travel required

  • Shift times and days vary with client needs

Requirements:

  • Daytime availability between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

  • High school diploma and/or G.E.D. certificate

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Current and valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely

  • Ability to pass background checks

No experience needed. Willing to provide training. Essential Functions and Duties: Assist the client with activities of daily living by providing any of the Comfort Keepers approved personal care activities including, but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and/or ambulation.
